This course covers the fundamentals of MMAW, including equipment setup, electrode selection, welding techniques, and safety procedures. You'll learn to weld various metals like steel, stainless steel, and cast iron, and master techniques for different joints and positions.
Topics typically covered:
- Introduction to MMAW equipment and setup
- Electrode types and selection
- Welding techniques (striking, running, and terminating arcs)
- Joint preparation and welding positions
- Safety and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Troubleshooting common issues
At the end of the MMAW course, you're expected to:
