  • Register you for training courses and manage course logistics

  • Communicate with you about your course or support request

  • Send training updates, offers, or news (if you opt in)

4. Sharing with Training & Workforce Partners

With your consent, GES may share relevant data with selected training or workforce partners (e.g. NES Fircroft, Energy Job Search) to:

  • Support career opportunity matching based on training completion

  • Align training services with workforce needs

  • Return enriched data (such as course participation status) to partners who originally referred or registered the candidate

  • Provide aggregated insight reports (see Section 12)

GES does not sell your data or use it for unrelated third-party advertising. 

5. Case Studies & Testimonials

We may ask to feature your training experience in a case study or testimonial that includes your name, job title, course taken, and feedback.

Your story will only be used publicly with your explicit, written consent, and you will have an opportunity to approve how your information is presented.

11. Partner Data Exchanges

GES may receive data about you from partners such as Energy Job Search or NES Fircroft if you originally registered or opted in on those platforms.

If we receive your data from such a partner, we may return training updates (e.g. course completion or certification status) to the same partner. This is done for the same original purpose—career development, training tracking, and job opportunity matching—and only if a valid data-sharing agreement is in place.

We rely on our partners to obtain your initial consent where required and follow appropriate data protection practices.

12. Anonymized & Aggregated Data Use

GES may also use anonymized or aggregated data—information that cannot be linked to any individual—for purposes such as:

 

  • Internal performance tracking 

  • Partner insight reporting 

  • Training demand and trend analysis 

  • Workforce development planning 

This data may be shared with partners, employers, or research bodies, but it will never include personally identifiable information.
