Course Description
This qualification covers many areas within Electro technical technology, units such as principles of electrical science, electrical installations technology and health and safety within Building Services Engineering. Candidates will be assessed by on-demand multiple choice tests (available through the City & Guilds assessment platform e-volve) and practical assignments.
Please note that this is a part-time course and you must be aged 19+ to apply.
What does a typical week look like?
This part-time course runs between 6pm and 9pm on a Monday and Wednesday evening at our Moulton campus.
The course will start on Monday 15 September 2025.
Where can it lead to?
Our qualifications offer learners the chance to develop their skills and knowledge to a high standard recognised by the industry.
Learners may progress from the Level 2 qualifications through to Level 3.
What are the entry requirements for this course?
Two GCSE passes at grade 3 (D) or above plus GCSEs in English and maths at Grade 4 (C) or above.
Funding Eligibility
May be fully funded for learners aged 19+ under the Adult Skills Fund, depending on prior qualifications, income, and employment status.
