Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS) – Course Overview
This EESS course is designed specifically for practicing electricians, electrical technicians, and engineers who already have experience with electrical installations, inspection, and testing. The programme provides targeted training to help delegates upskill and gain the specialist knowledge required to confidently install Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS).
Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of the key requirements for installing EESS.
Identify and apply relevant health and safety regulations and standards associated with EESS installation.
Understand the correct procedures for testing, certification, and handover of EESS systems.
This practical, industry-focused course helps experienced professionals build on their existing expertise to meet the growing demand for safe and compliant battery storage installations.

Refund Policy
Cancellation Policy – Summary
Public Training:
Can be cancelled with at least 30 calendar days’ written notice to NCC.
Cancellations within 30 days of the start date are not permitted.
In-House Training:
Can be cancelled with at least 45 calendar days’ written notice to NCC.
Cancellations within 45 days of the start date are not permitted.
Non-classroom-based Training:
Cannot be cancelled or rescheduled under any circumstances.
Charges are non-refundable.
Additional notes:
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the NCC Business Development Executive and emailed to Commercial@NCClondon.ac.uk.
If delegates fail to attend part or all of the training, full charges still apply.
Any approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Specific Terms and Conditions
Entry Requirements
Delegates must already hold the following:
• N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures) or
• Level 3 formal craft qualification that includes Inspection & Testing or
• Recognised Part P competence certification that includes Inspection & Testing.
A pre‐requisite recommendation is BPECs Solar Photovoltaic Systems training course or equivalent
Stand‐alone technical certificates/vocationally related qualifications (VRQ) (non‐competency based) are NOT acceptable
Important Information
Prior to starting the course, delegates must provide the following:
• Copies of certificates for prior qualifications held
Delegates must bring the following things on day 1 of the course:
• Passport size photographs (x2)
• Basic stationary (Pen, pencil, ruler)
• A calculator
